65 Amps - Memphis™

65Amps is coming out with a new model called the Memphis which will make its debut at the January 2008 NAMM Show. Everyone is raving about this amp -- there are some seriously glowing reviews that will be hitting print in the next few months.

The Memphis will be available in 18 and 35 watt configurations with 2 or 4 6V6 tubes. This is the first 6V6 amplifier that 65 amps has ever made. We expect there to be a serious backlog of orders but you can beat the rush by contacting us now to be one the first to own this wonderful amp.

Security breach regarding "Memphis" model

Radical Tone has just received some new, top secret information that was leaked from 65Amps on the new Memphis model which will be available in January 2008. We have made the difficult decision of passing-on these critical trade secrets to you. Please understand that while it's perfectly okay for you to tell your friends where you heard this info (in fact we encourage it), please know that if 65Amps asks us if we leaked the information, we will deny it!

The Memphis is 65Amps' first amplifier based on a 6V6 tube design featuring two wattage options, either 4-6V6's for 35 watts or 2-6V6's for approximately 20 watts. The 35 watt model includes a 1/2 power switch, giving you the option of running at the lower wattage. The layout of the amplifier is expected to be very similar to the SoHo but it will have a gain boost.

The Memphis will be available as a head or combo.
